  5. To develop a positive self-image and self-confidence through the acquisition of gymnastics skills.

TUMBLING/CHEER (First grade and up)

This program is designed to teach tumbling/cheer skills in a progressive and safe manner. The use of the tumble trampoline, spring floor, and foam pits makes learning fun and exciting. The classes are divided by skill level. The intermediate and advanced classes are by instructor recommendation only.

HIGH SCHOOL GYMNASTICS  (only available at Salto West)

Salto's High School Gymnastics classes provide an opportunity to  keep up your skills and to develop new skills. Christine Sobczyk and Allie Planton are the coaches for this class. These classes are offered in the Fall, Spring, and Summer sessions.

Children ages 4 and up will have a fun experience learning all about gymnastics!. Activities and lessons are individualized to give each child a chance to develop to his/her potential. Boys and girls ages 7 and up are divided into separate groups for instruction as boys use different equipment than girls do. For ages 4-6, we offer a co-ed beginners group. This class is only offered in the Fall, Winter and Spring sessions.

NinjaZone (only available at Salto Brookfield, ages 6-12)

Children learn a combination of flips, rolls, jumps, and kicks. Strength and agility are tested through obstacle courses and various training techniques. A progressive level system evaluates and advances children on their skill level and knowledge of core values as described in the NinjaZone creed. Children advance and learn at their own pace. The levels of NinjaZone are defined by the headband colors of White, Yellow, Green, and Blue. A uniform is required for class and may be ordered through the front office.
